Monday Night Forum: Steve Scully, Political Editor, C-SPAN
 
Steve Scully is the political editor for C-SPAN, as well as senior executive producer of C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal.’’ As a C-SPAN host for more than 25 years. Scully has interviewed hundreds of prominent political figures, from Presidents Obama, Bush and Clinton, to Gov. Jerry Brown, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. His even-keeled demeanor while handling calls from the public is featured regularly by comedian John Oliver who has dubbed Scully “The Most Patient Man on Television.’’  Scully is the former president of the White House Correspondents Association and has been honored by the Washingtonian Magazine as one of the capital’s “50 top journalists.’’ 
 
He is a graduate of American University and received a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. As a student, he interned in the office of Delaware Senator Joe Biden.
