Photo of the Week: January 26, 2015

I walk to my internship and pass by the Washington Monument every morning. The air is crisp and there are not a lot of people around at that time. Every time I walk by, I get the sense that the city is slowly waking up. By the time I get to the monument, the sun is barely beginning to rise, and its a beautiful view to see as I start my day.

This picture shows the trails leading up to the White House covered in snow. The White House in all its glory peaks our through the branches of the trees resisting to camouflage against the pure white snow.
